I’m an artist and designer who champions the absurd.
I make playful, interactive works that lean into the surreal and the comedic. My practice sits somewhere between interactive design, performance, illustration, and animation — remixing technology to create contraptions, installations, and experiences that invite curiosity, confusion, and laughter.
I treat technology less like a tool and more like a toy box — building things that sometimes work, sometimes misbehave, and always make space for humour. With a background in play theory and design for play, I’m interested in how experimentation can open the arts to people who don’t usually feel it’s for them.
I like to create workshops and co-create projects that give individuals and communities a chance to see what’s possible with their old tech, a bit of DIY necessity, and a sense of humour. It’s about discovering how possible things really are and finding ways to tell their own stories through funny, unexpected means.
One gallery once called what I do “hi-tech daft.” I quite like that.
